The Great Reset 2020

I was asked by a friend about my thoughts on this Youtube video:

I replied:
The calamity of 2020 is not unique to history (think Black/Bubonic Plague, Spanish Flu, etc.) so our effort to attach prophetic and eschatological significance to it is no different from what the poor, less-informed wretches of yesteryear must have done. Aside from requiring a predisposition to the tenets of a particular system of beliefs, the theme of the video is irrelevant. I am continually suspicious that the forecasters of supernatural doom in any particular era are merely wrapping their own relevance in cotton wool. The speaker in this video droned on in an unconvincing vein that I have encountered 10,000 times already, so I switched instead to finish watching the 1997 Hong Kong Squash Final between Canadian Jonathan Power and Pakistani Janshir Khan. The latter motivates me to get back to my tried-and-tested couch-to-5K (C25K) running programme for weight-loss and fitness for the duration of this life, a short-term plan I argue as there aren't many years to go before my demise. I opt to relegate to fate the long-term implications to the molecules to which my body would be reduced thereafter. A long time ago, I ceased to be affected by the prediction of a cruel fate to my being as the downside for disbelief. That is not going to change for as long as I remain coherent between now and when I breathe my last.
